The 13th Asian BioCeramics Symposium (ABC2013) http://www.abc2013.jp in conjuction with the 17th Symposium on Ceramics in Medicine,  Biology and Biomimetics will be held at Clock Tower Centennial Hall, Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan from December 4th to 6th, 2013. The research topics for regular sessions include, but are not limited to the following fields: Ceramic biomaterials, Scaffolds for tissue engineering, Composite biomaterials, Biomimetics, Bone cements, Nano-biomaterials, Surface modification and coatings of medical and dental implants, Combination products based on ceramic biomaterials, Cell and tissue responses to ceramic biomaterials, Drug and molecule delivery vehicles, Clinical trials and application of ceramic biomaterials, Biomineralization, and Environmental conscious ceramic materials.
