Faculty Position Opening Institute of Applied Mechanics College of Engineering, National Taiwan University
The Institute of Applied Mechanics, College of Engineering, National Taiwan University, invites applications for full-time faculty positions. Successful candidates should demonstrate solid training and innovative research in one or more of the following scholastic research area:
Solid Mechanics,
Fluid Mechanics,
Dynamics, or
Interdisciplinary Studies.
Those with research fields in connection with novel applications of mechanics in smart sensing, biomedical technology, energy technology, or defense technology will be granted priority in consideration. Proven experience in working with interdisciplinary research team is desirable. Passion in graduate teaching is essential. Candidates must have an earned doctoral degree (or equivalent) in engineering, physics, or related disciplines.

Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering (JMBE) is the official journal of the Taiwanese Society of Biomedical Engineering, which contains basic, applied, and clinical studies dealing with full spectrum of biomedical engineering. JMBE publishes original contributions on medical imaging, medical instrumentation, bioinformatics, biomechanics, tissue engineering, clinical engineering, biomaterials, and so on. Papers ranged from engineering development in methods and techniques with biomedical applications to experimental and clinical studies with engineering and clinical contributions.
